Description
The 5K Fun Run/Walk/Crawl travels throughout Heritage Park; ending at the Picnic in the Park, where every registered 5K participant will receive a custom commemorative spinner Race Medal. Wear a Pirate Costume to compete for an award or come as you are!
The Run will begin at 10am, traveling the roadway and paths throughout Heritage Park with views of the lake and nature. This is not a timed event, but is very close to a 5K. The Fun Run/Walk will end at Picnic in the Park, for you to enjoy the music, food, games and entertainment.
Belton Lions Serve the Community providing the following:
- Scholarships for children in the Belton area who qualify for Texas Lions Camp for children who are physically disabled, hearing/vision impaired or diabetic.
- Eye examinations and glasses for children in Belton I.S.D.
- Two Annual College scholarships for Belton High School Graduating Seniors.
- Helping to maintain Lions Pavilion and Playground for Children with Special Needs at Heritage Park.
- Supporting families of Children with Special Needs for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Partnering with Belton I.S.D. for their HEARTBEAT Angel Program.
- Pictures with Santa for Families of Children with Special Needs.
