Description
Rucks On Main is a non-profit organization that hosts a military-themed ruck march twice a year at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas.
Ruckers will fill their rucksacks / backpacks with non-perishable food items (up to 40lbs) that they will carry while they ruck. Once you cross the finish line all food items will be donated to local charitable organizations. The 40lb max is a *suggested* weight, not required - carry what you are comfortable with.
Ruck solo or bring an entire squad.
All participants will receive a t-shirt at check-in. At 9am ruck marchers will step off to complete a 6-mile ruck through downtown Temple and historic neighborhoods in North Temple. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a small gift of the organizer's choosing. Participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt or a small gift if they register 30 days or fewer before the event (supplies will be limited).
After completing the ruck march, marchers will gather at the Santa Fe Plaza to enjoy food, locally-brewed craft beer, and camaraderie.
