Warrior Angels in Boots 5K

Description

#LaceUpSalado and join Warrior Angels in Boots for their 5K fundraising event. 

They are recognizing and supporting HEROES IN BOOTS who put their lives on the line every day: Service Men and Women who have served and fought for our country and freedom, our local Police, Fire Department and EMS. 

Funds raised will be donated Boot Campaign. Boot Campaign’s mission is to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs. https://bootcampaign.org

You can WALK or RUN! Dogs and strollers are welcome! If you’re a VETERAN and want to participate but aren’t able to walk they will accommodate you!

Want to support the campaign but don’t have the energy to complete the 5K? Sign up for the Zero K and your registration includes a pint from Barrow Brewery. Individuals will meet at the alternate starting line and proceed at a normal clip around the beer garden to be “awarded” a Golden Ale of their choice at the finish line. This Zero K is not timed. Start time is at 10:30am. All proceeds from your registration go to the Boot Campaign.
