Description
Rucks On Main is a non-profit organization that hosts a military-themed ruck march twice a year at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas.
Ruckers will fill their rucksacks / backpacks with non-perishable food items (up to 40lbs) that they will carry while they ruck. Once you cross the finish line all food items will be donated to local charitable organizations.
Ruck solo or bring an entire squad.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and a wristband at check-in. At 9am ruck marchers will step off to complete a 6-mile ruck through downtown Temple and historic neighborhoods in North Temple. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a challenge coin.
After completing the ruck march, marchers will gather at the Santa Fe Plaza to enjoy food, locally-brewed craft beer, and camaraderie.
**Proceeds from this Memorial Day ruck march will be going to Hoofbeats For Hearoes. HOOFBEATS FOR HEROES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation set up to serve our service members, veterans, first responders and their families. They are currently operating BLORA Ranch on Fort Hood in Belton, Texas to provide relaxation, healing and fun for the entire community.**
