All donations will be going to Hay Branch Elementary!
From August 7 to August 10, they will be collecting donations such as: backpacks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, folders, notebooks, pencil boxes, colored pencils, erasers, scissors, and glue.
They will have a special treat for anyone who brings in a donation!
They will collect supplies up till the first day of school, August 20. They will pick a school to donate the supplies to.

Past Donation Opportunities
Temple Police Department Blue Santa:
Applicants are required to live in Temple and provide proof of residence. Blue Santa serves children in preschool through twelfth grade who still reside at home and need school supplies. Apply by July 12.
Helping Hands Ministry of Belton Project Apple Tree:
Belton, Academy, and Holland ISD families can register to receive shoes and backpacks here through July 19.
Ways to help:
Purchase a new backpack and bring it to Helping Hands MinistryPurchase a new pair of sneakers or socks and bring it to Helping Hands Ministry or shop their wishlistsCover the costs for a student’s school supplies, backpack, and a new pair of shoes ($50)To combat weekend food insecurity, Helping Hands Ministry has partnered with Communities in Schools (CIS) at Southwest Elementary, Miller Heights Elementary, Chisholm Trail Elementary, South Belton Middle School, and Belton High School to provide weekend snack packs for students. A weekend snack pack includes a combination of breakfast items, protein items, juice, fruit, and snacks. Weekend snack pack food is provided and packed by Helping Hands Ministry of Belton and distributed by CIS at the school to students in need. $5 purchases a weekend snack pack for one student, or $180 purchases a student’s weekend snack packs for the full school year.
Drop off school supply donations in the brightly colored bin at City Hall from July 1 - July 22 and help fill backpacks for the upcoming school year.
Donations will support families in need of backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year. Drop off supplies at the Harker Heights Police Department until July 26.
They are collecting notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other school materials to support students of all ages through July 27.

The goal is to giveaway 400 BACKPACKS. Each backpack, full of supplies, is estimated to cost $35. You can donate towards one or more backpacks but of course, any donation will be helpful. Through August 3

Roni's Mac Bar Harker Heights:
Their goal is to fill an entire school bus with the supplies Central Texas students need. They are asking for the community to donate backpacks, pencils, pens, crayons, rulers, paper, folders, binders, and other essentials.
You’ll be able to drop them off at either the Harker Heights or Fort Cav location! Any monetary donations will be matched as well. July 22-August 8
1. Purchase a new backpack & arrange pickup/drop-off for the backpack by August 9th. Send a message to coordinate.
2. Purchase backpacks on the Walmart website through their Wishlist and they will be shipped directly to the office.
3. Donate any amount you'd like to or donate $72 for a case of 24 bulk backpacks through a wholesale website.
