1. MLK March (Killeen)
2026 Theme: "Building the Beloved Community"
Killeen NAACP Youth Council present their yearly peace march.
Line up at 8am, march at 9am. Mon @ 8AM
2. Tiny Thinkers: Rhymes (Belton)
Kids 5 years and younger are invited to the museum to learn about rhymes.
There will be a story time reading of Green Eggs and Ham followed by crafts and activities. Activities include making paper green eggs and ham, rhyming puzzles, and more. Wed 10AM-11AM
3. Sensory Friendly Night @ Brew & Play Cafe (Temple)
Enjoy the play cafe with the big lights off and blue lamps on.
They will also have glow sticks! Dancing fruit will be on the TV. Wed 5:45PM-7:45PM
4. Killeen Winter Skate Bash (Killeen)
Bring your own skates and enjoy an evening filled with food, music, and fun. Fri 6PM-8PM
5. Iron Lion (Temple)
The Iron Lion is turning up the winter fun with a fresh spin on a beloved tradition! This year, the legendary Polar Plunge joins forces with the brand-new Yeti Run obstacle fun run, the frosty-fun Arctic Aim athletic throw challenges, and, of course, the daring leap into the icy competition pool for the ultimate Polar Plunge. It’s an all-ages adventure on land and in the water—perfect for those who love a little thrill, a lot of laughs, and a whole bunch of community spirit.

6. Kid Fish (Harker Heights)
Bring your fishing poles and bait to Carl Levin Park for a Kid's Fish!
Kid's 17 and under can fish without a license.
Harker Heights Parks and Rec will have limited fishing poles and bait available for use.
Texas Master Naturalists will also be available to help anyone learn how to fish or work on their casting skills. Sat 10AM-1PM
7. LEGO Day (Killeen)
Fun challenges, a LEGO display, and piles of LEGO bricks for your own freestyle creations.
LEGO are more than just toys—they’re tools for learning and creativity. Building with LEGO helps improve problem-solving skills, encourages imagination, and develops fine motor skills. Last year, they had nearly 1,800 people come out to explore their creative side. Sat 10AM-3PM
8. K-Pop Demon Hunters Kids Glow Skate (Killeen)
K-POP DEMON HUNTERS ARE TAKING OVER THE RINK!
Get ready for a Glow Skate, Dance & Concert Party like nothing else! This daytime event is packed with high-energy K-Pop music, skating, dancing, games, and nonstop fun from start to finish.
