Bell County Spring Break Guide 2025

By Brittany Joyner March 5, 2025

It’s Spring Break in Bell County! While it’s tempting to let the kids relax with a movie or some screen time, this week is also a great chance to make fun memories together. Whether you're looking for local adventures or simple activities at home, we’ve got plenty of ideas to keep everyone entertained!

  1. Have a family picnic! Pack some sandwiches and snacks (or hit up the drive thru) and go the park. We love picnics at Temples Lake Park because there's just something about the sound of water and the feel of the breeze on a sunny day. Don't wanna leave the house? Have a picnic in your backyard or even on the living room floor to change it up.
  2. Go the library! We've got 5+ GREAT libraries that have some awesome, fun, and FREE programs for kids. Attend one of the storytimes, craft days, or just go to hang out and read some books. Here's our Ultimate Bell County Libraries Guide to help you out!
  3. Cook something! Break out the baking bowls and make some cookies. Or give your little one a bunch of ingredients and let them make their own creation. Don't stress about how the final product comes out (you KNOW toddlers don't let us measure), just focus on having fun while doing it.
  4. Have a dance party! Turn up the music and get moving! Or make your own music with makeshift instruments. Break out the Just Dance, get in costume, be as silly and carefree as possible.
  5. Looking to get out of town?! We've rounded up 150+ day trips within 3 hours of Bell County, separated by activity type in our Day Trip Guide!
